VICKIE BESS

MANAGING DIRECTOR / SALON OWNER

Hi, I'm Vickie and I am one of the Managing Directors and owner of Limelight Hairdressing. I have been working in the industry for over 20 years and set up the salon in April 2009. I am very passionate about  hairdressing and very proud of the salon and the staff. Over the last 14 years we have gone from strength to strength, but we still strive to improve the salon to make the best experience for our clients

 

I love every aspect of my job, including Cutting and Colouring, but my speciality is Bridal Hair. I have had the joy of working with over 300 Brides and their Bridal Parties. I really do love being part of the Brides special Day

 

Vickie is now working part time in a local Training Academy, as she wanted to pass on her vast knowledge and expertise onto the next generation of hairdressers! Vickie is now in the Salon on a Thursday and Saturday  

AMY CARTER

SALON MANAGER

Amy is our amazing Assistant Manager here at Limelight. She has been qualified for over 10 years and joined the Limelight Team in August 2017 when she bravely left her small village in Wales to join our team here in busy Bristol. Amy is fantastic in all areas of hairdressing but loves highlighting and balayage. She is also brilliant at hair up.

KARA AGUIS

SENIOR STYLIST

Kara is our amazing Senior Stylist and has been at Limelight for 2 years. Kara is an amazing all round hairdresser, but colouring is her passion. Kara is fantastic at Balayage and her foils are so neat!

Molly is our fantastic Stylist. Molly is recently qualified Level 3. Molly is fantastic at all things colour and her blow dries are beautiful!

Cancellation and Booking Fees

Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are very important to us, it is reserved especially for you.

We understand sometimes it will need to be rearranged; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice to cancel.

If you cancel within 48 hours, we will require 50% of your missed appointment. This total includes your Booking Fee.

If you No Show, you will be required to pay 100% of your missed appointment (minus your Booking Fee) and will be required to pay 100% for any future appointments. This will be non refundable.

If your card is stored on file, we will charge your card. If not, we will send a text with the bank details to transfer.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you will lose your Booking Fee (minus your Booking Fee) and will have to rearrange. We will take another Booking Fee and you will be charged 50% of the appointment you missed due to being late.

As a courtesy, we ask you to inform the salon if you are running late. If we can not accomodate the full service, we will do our best to do as much as we can but you will be charged the the full service that was booked. For example, you have a Full Head Foils and a Blowdry booked in and run 10 minutes late, we may only have time for a Half Head Foils and a Blowdry, but you will still be charged for a Full Head Foils and a Blowdry.

Client Booking Fee

Booking Fees are NON REFUNDABLE

 

Due to last minute cancellations and no shows, we are introducing a booking fee for every client. 
This will be a small amount that will be taken off the final amount of your bill. Most colours and cuts will be a £40 booking fee. A Colour Correction will require a higher Booking Fee due to extra time.


Your appointment can be rearranged up to 48 hours before your appointment time and the booking fee will be moved across to your new appointment. Any changes to your appointment within the 48 hours before your appointment, your booking fee will be lost and you will need to pay another.

Booking Fees will not be taken when online booking using the card you provided. We will contact you with bank details you can send it over to or you can pop into the salon and pay at the same time as your consultation or patch test.

Booking Online

Please read our terms and conditions before booking online. By booking online you confirm you agree to our terms and conditions. Your card will not be charged for an upfront payment and you be sent a text asking for a Booking Fee to be sent across by bank transfer or paid in the salon.

Payment details will be stored on your profile and be used to charge a 50% Late Cancellation Fee or 100% No Show Fee if you fail to show for this appointment or any future appointments, irrespective of how they are booked.
